Instructors >> Sean McMurray

Sean McMurray’s interest in dogs began in 1983 when he obtained his first puppy, a Lab cross. Since then, Sean has trained, handled and loved three white Shepherds, a Standard Poodle, and his current dog, Zephyr, a whippet.

Sean began teaching classes in 1990 and has been with us at Tails-U-Win! ever since. He teaches in our Family Dog program and has been involved in competition obedience, lure coursing, behavior consultations and is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.

Sean and his Standard Poodle Storm completed their AKC Companion Dog title, placing in every Novice A class they entered. He credits Storm’s enthusiasm and success in the ring to 100% positive training methods.  Sean is also an instructor at Camp Gone to the Dogs in Vermont.

However, at Tails-U-Win! we consider Sean’s greatest asset to be a father to five children in a very busy household he shares with his wife Sue. His knowledge of kids and dogs comes from experience and from the heart.
