Joyce has owned and loved dogs for the past 16 years. Shepherds are her passion, both German and Australian. Joyce has focused her training primarily in the area of competition obedience, with the goal being a joyous, willing working partner.She and her dogs have earned 2 UD's, 5 CDX's, 7 CD's, 1 TD and along the way have received multiple High in Trial awards, a Gaines Regional Tournament placing and a perfect score of 200 with her German Shepherd, "Jago". Her young Aussie, "Tai" is leading her into the unknown territory of herding.
Joyce has had the pleasure of teaching classes at Tails-U-Win! since 1994, instructing puppy, beginner and advanced pet classes as well as starting newcomers in the sport of competition obedience. Joyce also does private lessons in the home setting for pets with behavior issues or just needing basic manners training.
